Project GO - Critical Languages Institute

The Critical Languages Institute is a summer language endeavor supported by ASU’s Melikian Center: Russian, Eurasian and East European Studies and one of the largest summer training facilities in the U.S. specializing in less commonly taught languages.

The institute offers 15 languages and study abroad, hybrid and domestic programs from Arizona to Armenia, Turkey to Uzbekistan, Russia to Kyrgyzstan and more. In addition, several of overseas programs offer internship or volunteer experiences to build on programs' intensive language studies, cultural activities and skills training.

In addition, the institute supports Project Global Officer or Project Go, a nationwide program training ROTC cadets in Indonesian and Russian, including immersive overseas programs in Bali and the Kyrgyz Republic.
