GI Bill®

The GI Bill® was designed to offer financial assistance to our servicemembers and veterans in pursuit of educational or training goals. This Department of Veterans Affairs educational benefit is designed for active duty, select reserved and National Guard Armed Forces and their families.

There are several different types of GI Bills and other assistance programs, including the Post-9/11 GI Bill®, Montgomery GI Bill®, Tuition Assistance "Top Up" programs, Reserve Education Assistance Program (REAP) and Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP), among others.

Tuition assistance and Top Up are Department of Defense programs processed through student's branch of service. ASU's Education Center or ASU Online counselors can help you get your benefits started.

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
